Our tour group coalesced (six gap-year future freshmen at Princeton and their mama-chaperone, two Dutch, a woman from Cusco, a man from Taiwan, a couple from Japan on their way around the world in 10 months and a German woman volunteering in Cuzco - people you end up with in March in South America among the 20-somethings with backpacks. I re-met the Taiwan guy climbing Ollantaytambo ruins, and unbelievably, the blond in the blue sweater (middle right) in a remote village in the Andes. She was researching greenhouses with a Dutch NGO; I was with Threads of Peru.
