| OK, so I didn't get to Macchu Pichu. Access had been wiped out by heavy rains the month before. It re-opened shortly after I left. I'll just have to visualize visiting this world wonder. No matter. There is so much else to do - like going to Lake Titicaca, not to mention to Andean mountain communities. As much as I am convinced I'm not hispanic at heart in any way (give me Gaul), it's a fabulous experience. .. with Macchu Pichu or without. |
