The main drag in San Pedro de Atacama
| San Pedro is in a huge desert. It become a tourist center because of natural wonders around it. The Valley of the Moon was worthy. Otherwise, tours are to a lake with flamingos (already saw many more in Africa) and to salt beds (already went to one in northern Argentina). It is pretty expensive compared to other places I visited, mainly because it's a captive audience once you've spent the bus hours to get there. |
