This 30-year-old Russian truck has seen military duty but is finding more use retrofitted with seats for tourists. It could use some work on the suspension, but the bumps and jolts made the 15-kilometer trip to a park near Trinidad even more memorable. Steep inclines, hairpin turns, horses, goats and cattle on the road kept the driver alert. Gears cranked in place; brakes squeaked but worked...thankfully.
