China trip

Needless to say, I wouldn't have given up this trip for all the tea in China – about which there is considerable indoctrination along the way. Harvested tea is often sold in these oval bricks, which made it easier to transport on donkey back to markets on the other side of the Himalayas back in the old days. This tea tasting featured tea from bushes and from trees, fermented or unfermented. I opted for fermented tree leaves.
