The last day I drove around the massif where the Croix de Provence is...a nice change from touristy towns.
Took an hour's hike up from Vauvenargues on the north side, but when I saw the pathway went DOWN
into a valley again before going UP, I decided I didn't want to do that. Otherwise, it's 3.5 hours to the top.
